We think it’s going to really change at least for in game and prop betting forever. Being able to bet on, let’s say, will the Kansas City Chiefs score more points in the second half or in the third quarter than they will in the second quarter? Or will they score a touchdown on the next drive? That’s great and that’s what you can do today. But, with our technology, you can even take that on steroids to have a major step forward, meaning the Kansas City Chiefs get the ball and you could essentially bet on every single play during the course of the drive, will the next pass Pat Mahomes throws be a touchdown or an interception? If you’re watching a baseball game during the world series, will Justin Verlander’s next pitch be a strike? Those are the types of things that you can do when you have no delay.
Also, one of the things that we’ve been able to do that nobody really else has been able to do is match or sync the data with the videos. So typically, what happens is you get a data stream that comes in less than a second, but the video doesn’t typically come that quickly, so you’ve got to sort of hold back on the video and say hold back the data to match up with the video. The betting houses can take the bets when they have both of those streams. But with us being able to stream in real time we can take the data and the video and sync it.
So, in theory, a company like FanDuel that you mentioned could arguably stream 10 or 15 or 20 or 30 seconds longer and take that much more bets for 10 or 20 or 30 seconds more. So that’s going to generate, tens or hundreds of millions of dollars in handle for them. And it just allows all the bettors like yourself to place bets almost up until the play’s happening, assuming you want to.
