That was the question Kris Dawson’s accountant asked him a decade ago when he saw more dollars going out than coming in. It led to a period of soul-searching for Kris as he realized that things couldn’t continue the way they’d been going for a number of years.
Should he stop gambling and just focus all of his efforts on his business? That was the ‘sensible’ path in the eyes of many people, including his accountant and many family and friends.
But it wasn’t the way Kris wanted to go. He was convinced that with a refined approach he could actually win consistently.
So he doubled down. Kris sold his business, found a mentor and became a lot more disciplined and focused.
