We’ve got the Packers favored by three at the Chargers. Now I always find it interesting to see a road team, I look at three as a very key number for a road team. However, I don’t think three seems like enough for the Packers, to me, watching these two teams this year it feels like the Packers should clobber the Chargers and this line should be higher. Does this three-point spread give you any head-scratching or do you think this is right where it should be?
NFL is a bit of a contrarian league in some ways. It certainly gets me thinking twice if I’d want to play Green Bay because of that. But like I said, I make them about five and a half. There’s really no home field advantage. You’re going to have a ton of Packer fans there and Green Bay just kind of have it going.
Now the Chargers did get rid of Ken Whisenhunt their offensive coordinator last week, so we’ll see what that really looks like. Who knows what that’s going to mean. They are getting a little bit healthier on offense. Hunter Henry came back a few weeks ago. Russell Okung came back last week at their left tackle position and hopefully Keenan Allen, I know he had some hamstring problems last week, but he played, hopefully he’s okay and good to go.
